A set up nightmare

A good deal with $100 rebate? We'll see. About 8 hrs. to set up. Trunion mounted to cabinet flange fore and aft. and top mounted left and right. Drilled & tapped top casting out of alignment by several degrees and considerably past the max adjustment allowed by oversized cabinet holes. Required hogging out the holes over several tries from about 7**16"(was metric) to 5**8". Then very close to rotating top so blade parallel with miter slot. Finally used a rotary grinding stone to make holes eccentric. Two man job each time to R&R assembled top. O.K. Then flat motor belt fell off arbor pulley. Motor pulley was off by over 1**2".After buying metric hex keys, able to pry off motor pulley with a pickle fork, replace square key stock correctly and drive pully on to eyeball alignment. Local rep had told me to reverse the motor pulley sheave (worse)and align with straight edge(motor side clearance doesn't allow) Fence was off but an easy adj. We'll see how it preforms! next.
