How You Can Help Keep toolSeeker Open

toolSeeker now lists both sponsored and non-sponsored links on our site. If you price a tool and are considering buying that tool, please consider purchasing it from one of the highlighted sponsored links on the pricing page where the "buy info" button appears. These sponsors help keep our site open, and without their support this site will close down.

Pricing Information

toolSeeker searches numerous web sites in order to locate low prices on the most popular power tools available.  All the tool sellers we list on toolSeeker are authorized dealers of the tools they sell.  We have been pricing tools online since 1999 and take great care in only listing fully functional ecommerce web sites that feature SSL secure severs to ensure complete security.  We get several request per month to list sites selling tools, but only offer those that we consider to be reliable and those that offer competitive distributor tool pricing.

All tools are listed by the manufacturers model number. Sometimes tool distributors add their own code to a manufacturers serial number in order to assist them in maintaining inventory. We make every effort to ensure that the tools listed on toolSeeker are as advertised, and as described by the tools manufacturer. However, we encourage all tool shoppers to thoroughly check all descriptions that are provided by the tool distributors listed in our service to ensure that you are buying the tool you want.

toolSeeker does maintain an affiliate relationship with some of the ecommerce sites listed. No favoritism is given to any site. All tool prices are shown as they appear on the sites we search, at the time of our update. We can not guarantee any prices as advertised by any ecommerce store we list on our site.

Shipping Calculation

We make every attempt to bring you the most reliable information about shipping costs. Most distributors charge a flat fee, or no shipping charge at all. If you see a range in shipping prices on our site it is because that distributor is charging you actual UPS shipping rates to your location. In these cases we have taken a sample tool from every category and calculated shipping costs from the distributor to Florida and California. These costs are only an estimate and you should visit those sites to verify your actual shipping costs.

In other instances you will see "Truck Ft." as the shipping cost.  This means the distributor is charging you actual truck freight to your location.

Privacy

toolSeeker is a free service provided to users of the Internet and we promote a spam free environment. The only time we ask for your information is if you wish to participate in our monthly contests. This information you provide to us will never be sold or provided to another entity. Other than our contest we do not "secretly" collect you information through the use of cookies, and our site is cookie free. Your privacy is ensured.
